* Thac Ba Hydropower Joint Stock Co (coded
TBC) has announced to adjust the ex-dividend session for shareholders to
get 2009 dividend-the second phase on Sep 24, instead of Sep 1 as
mentioned previously.
* Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HNX) announced to receive the application
profile for listing 11.55 million shares on the southern bourse
submitted by Trans-Pacific Joint Stock Co under the share code of PAN.
* The southern bourse-listed 620 Chau Thoi Concrete Joint Stock Co
(coded BT6) has lately approved for issuing about 22 million shares for
allocating bonus shares to existing shareholders.
* SMC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Co (coded SMC) has announced to
auction over 6 million shares to public in order to raise capital.
* The management board of Dong Nai Paining Joint Stock Co (coded SDN) would issue 168,705 bonus shares by the end of Sep 2010.
* PetroVietnam Securities Joint Stock Co (HNX-listed PSI) announced to
gain accumulative pre-tax profit in first eight months of this year of
63.5 billion dong, after setting up necessary standby funds.
* BIDV Financial Investment Joint Stock Co has offloaded over 3.5
million shares of Thuan Thao Corp (GTT), or a 12.25 percent stake in the
enterprise.
* Petrolimex International Trading Co (PIT) has registered to buy back
500,000 PIT shares for its treasury stock within one month from
September 8 via matching.
* Song Da - Thang Long Co (STL) will begin trading five million more shares on the northern bourse on September 9.
* SPM Joint Stock Co (coded SPM) announced to carry out a pharmaceutical
plant in Burma with total investment capital of about $20 million.
* Muong Kim hydropower plant, with designed capacity of 13.5 MW
officially produced commercial electricity and joined the national power

* Thu Duc Housing Development Joint Stock Co (coded TDH) has announced the resolution passed by the company's management board.
* HCM City Housing Investment and Trading Joint Stock Co yesterday held
the ground-breaking ceremony for construction project of Thien Phu
trading and residential area in Dak Nong province. The project has total
investment capital of 500 billion dong.
* The market research firm, The Nielsen Company (Vietnam) Ltd, has moved
its head office in HCM City to Level 4 of Centre Point Building at 106
Nguyen Van Troi Street, Phu Nhuan District.
* Victoria Hotels & Resorts is organising the seventh Green Day
clean-up of sites around its six resorts and spas in Vietnam and
Cambodia on September 11. The environmental campaign is held annually
for its staff and guests as well as local communities to join forces to
raise public awareness of environmental protection.
* Vietnam Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Co, or
Constrexim Holdings, has been asked to speed up construction of Phuong
Nam pulp plant in Long An Province. The enterprise started work on the
project in 2006 on 45 hectares in Thanh Hoa District with the designed
output of 100,000 tonnes per year.
* Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Co has launched the first phase of a
steel plant in Thai Binh Province with the total investment of $53
million. The phase includes an advanced steel rolling line with the
capacity of 600,000 tonnes per year.
* Kien Giang Salangane Nest Investment and Development Joint Stock Co.
has got approval to develop the An Bien salangane village project from
now to 2012. The project will cover 172 hectares in An Bien District
with the invested capital of around 200 billion dong.
* Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Co, or Vinamilk, has become the
first Vietnamese enterprise to be named in Forbes Asia's "Best Under a
Billion" list. The annual list picks the top-performing 200 firms from
over 12,000 listed Asia-Pacific companies with revenue under $1 billion.
* Binh Tan District's Road Transport Cooperative in Vinh Long Province
has launched the Binh Tan-Binh Minh-Can Tho bus route with trips every
30 minutes. Ticket price for the route is 14,000 dong per person.
* Chuong Duong Corp (CDC) in the first eight months of this year
obtained 282 billion dong in revenue and 38.5 billion dong in pre-tax
profit, increasing by 25 percent and 40 percent year-on-year
respectively.
* Vinaship Co (VNA) has sold three old ships, Hung Vuong 2, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh, and collected a total $3.1 million.
* Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Co (TCT) expects to reach 32.9 billion dong in pre-tax profit this year.
* Alphanam Mechanical and Electric Co. (AME) has signed a 40 billion
dong contract with Japanese partners to upgrade the 110-kilovolt station
at Nomura Hai Phong Industrial Park.
* NBB Investment Corp (NBB) reached 102 billion dong in after-tax profit
in the first half of this year, increasing by 230 percent from 2009.
* Saigon Garment Manufacturing Trade Co (GMC) obtained around 20 billion dong in pre-tax profit in the January-August period.
* Sao Ta Foods Co (FMC) sold 85 tonnes of farm produce worth $9.9
million in August, bringing this year's revenue to $35.3 million.
* The three member companies of An Binh Group, including An Binh
Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank), An Binh Securities Co (ABS), and
An Binh Real Estate Co (ABLand) have signed cooperation agreements with
Vietnam Airlines Insurance Co (VNI).
* Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) has got approval from the
State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to increase chartered capital from two
trillion dong to 3.1 trillion dong in accordance with the document No
6706/NHNN-TTGSNH.
* On the occasion of celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Thang
Long-Hanoi, on Sep 9, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank
(SeABank) officially opened nine transaction offices in Hanoi, HCM City,
Da Nang City, Khanh Hoa and Bac Ninh provinces, raising the total
amount of transaction offices to 93 units nationwide.
* Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VietBank) has
inaugurated Huynh Tan Phat Savings Fund situated at No 785 Huynh Tan
Phat St, Phu Thuan Ward, Dist 7, HCM City, raising the total transaction
offices to 64 units in all over the country.
* Vietnam Export Import Commercial Bank (EIB) has got approval to float
around 3.7 million additional shares on the southern bourse.
* Vietnam Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade will start work on the
Ciputra Hanoi high-class office, hotel and commercial complex on October
20.
