VNE: The record date for a dividend payment & a new share offering

Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation announces the record date to pay dividend in stock:
Stock symbol: VNE
Stock type: Common stock
Par value: VND10,000
Ex-right date: July 20, 2010
(In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on July 20, 2010 and July 21, 2010, sellers will not receive rights)
Record date: July 22, 2010
Purpose:
To pay dividend in stock for year 2009
Offering new shares to existing shareholders.
1. Dividend payment in stock for year 2009: 6,344,216 shares
Exercise ratio: 20% (A shareholder owning 100 shares will receive 20 new shares)
The volume receive will be rounded to units. The fractional parts (if any) will be cancelled.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 101 shares, the calculation will be: 101 shares x 20% = 20.2 shares. After rounding down, the number of dividend he receives will be 20 shares
2. Implementing rights to buy additional shares: 25,376,864 shares
Exercise ratio: 10:8 (A shareholder owning 10 shares will receive 10 rights, 10 rights will be entitled to buy 8 new shares)
Issue price: VND10,000/share
The number of shares offered to existing shareholders will be rounded to units. The fractional parts (if any) will be cancelled.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 101 shares, the calculation will be: 101 shares x 8/10 = 80.8 new shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 80 new shares.
The new shares are transferable.
Rights to buy shares are transferred only once.
Time to transfer rights: from August 02, 2010 to August 23, 2010
Time to register to buy shares: from August 02, 2010 to August 25, 2010
Place of implementation:
Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at Accounting Dept of Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation
