Ocean Group estimates profit of 400b dong in H1

Vu Hong Son, member of management board in
Ocean Group Joint Stock Co (coded OGC) announced that the group
estimates to gain over 400 billion dong of profit in the first six
months of this year, mainly from trading real estates.
At present, the company was carrying out construction projects of VNT
Tower in Nga Tu So and Starcity Le Van Luong in Hanoi. As planned, in
2010, OGC would continue conducting Starcity Centre, a complex of
offices, apartment and trade centre. The company also implemented legal
procedures for a variety of real estate projects in Hanoi and HCM City.
Son added that the group's member companies also reported positive
business results in the first half of this year. In details, Ocean Bank
(OJB) expects to reach profit of 300 billion dong, Ocean Securities Co
(OCS) of 50 billion dong and Ocean Hotel Co of 50 billion dong.
